Have you ever thought of the people in this world who have never witnessed the gift of Love? There are children who have experienced rejection, abuse, even death. In some families, generations have lived from cradle to grave without knowing that most precious human experience, called love.
Now, I can’t help but conclude that this is the reason for so much strife in the world. If darkness is the absence of light, then we must accept the fact that the absence of love results in a life of anger, hatred, and violence. And for those of you who believe…God is watching. He longs to reach out to you, before it’s too late.
It may sound cliché…but there was a song written in the 60’s by a British singer/musician, John Lennon. The Beatles sang these words: “All you need is love.” Now, that may not seem the answer to your present problem, but we should not forget about another man named John. He wrote: “For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
I hope the promise of his words bring you peace.
Be blessed, Donna
