Have you ever stood on the beach and tried to imagine the distance to the other side? It’s impossible to see the distant shore.

Last week, I was given a mental picture of God’s love. The Holy Spirit showed me a glimpse of the ocean. I was reminded of a verse of scripture: “as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us” (Psalms 103:)

I believe the Lord wants us to understand the reality of what David was saying. So often, we remember our transgressions against God. When we repent, we confess our sins and ask for His forgiveness. But for many of us, it is difficult for us to forget the past. So, the Holy Spirit continues to remind us…God chooses not to look at the sin.

In the Book of Job, Satan challenged God’s relationship with mankind. And he continues to taunt and accuse God’s children, even today. So, when you are haunted by images of the past…remember God’s Word: “as far as the east is from the west”. I pray you will accept God’s infinite forgiveness.
